This luxury hotel is planned to serve the international business community during the week, and touring travelers on weekends, and was designed as a visually distinctive masonry and glass tower atop a limestone podium, recalling the best of New York's traditional architecture. A sister hotel to the landmarked mid-town Plaza, it refers to, in detailing and materials, familiar elements of the original hotel with its well-known Palm Court. The elegant glass dome of the original Plaza is recreated as a central element in the design of the new hotel.
The hotel offers a spectacular location overlooking New York Harbor.
