Bernard Kho, AIA, LEED Green Associate
Associate / Architect / IT Director
Bernard Kho works as a project designer and as our IT director. As a member of the architectural staff he is involved with a wide variety of the firm's new construction and renovation work and also manages our computer systems.
Mr. Kho's varied project experience includes LHPA's rehabilitation of New York City subway stations at Bleecker Street, East 180th Street, and DeKalb Avenue. He has also been involved with the 132 Perry Street Condominiums, an 11-story complex atop an existing garage facility; the renovation and expansion of St. James Episcopal Church and Parish House; Harlem Plaza, an $80 million high-rise office and retail development in New York City; Victoria Tower, a luxury hotel and condo tower situated above the Victoria Theater in Harlem; the restoration of the landmarked Plaza Hotel in Manhattan; and the design of a new museum complex for the Putnam County Historical Society in Cold Spring, NY.
He also assists with our work in the People’s Republic of China, including the design of a convention center and hotel tower for the Tianjin Economic Development Authority.
As the firm’s IT director, Mr. Kho first implemented and now oversees our office-wide computer networking system.
Working with the marketing department, he also helps develop business for the firm, taking responsibility for the graphic design and development of brochures, client presentations and promotional material.
