66th Street/Lincoln Center
Subway Station Rehabilitation

New York, NY

Lee Harris Pomeroy Associates has provided full planning, design, and coordination of all consultants for the modernization and rehabilitation of the Broadway IRT subway station. New entrance/control areas for both the north and southbound platforms are being created. Each one will be fully accessible for the disabled. Our work includes structural alterations as needed and upgrading power, lighting, communications, and finishes to present day Transit Authority standards. The design embraces historic forms and materials including 1904 terra cotta, iron-spot brick, the identity of Lincoln Center Station, and a major art program with artist Nancy Spiro.
